Good morning, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. I am so happy to be getting this week going – just because of the warmer weather that we are supposed to be getting! Last week we were just cold – I am not worried about it for myself – but our poor little ducks have not been enjoying themselves. I go to check on them and they just give me the ole’ stink eye. They are certainly not happy, especially since their little pool is frozen solid.

Today I wanted to share my hello hello card with you. The cute little houses are from Sunny Studio Stamps Charming City stamp set, but instead of giving them a “proper” coloring I decided to instead aim for a watercolor look.
How to: I put ink on an acrylic block and used my blender pen to add it to the stamped image. On the Stampin’Up! ink you can just ‘squish’ (for lack of a better term) the closed ink carton so that the ink comes off on the inside cover and then use your blender pen.
Card measures 3 1/2 inches x 6 inches.
Supplies used:
- Sunny Studio Stamps Charming City stamps and coordinating dies
- Stampin’Up! Eastern Beauty stamp set
- Parklane paper – Happy garden
- Carstock: white, taupe
- 1/4 inch off white organza ribbon
- Ink: black

The greeting on the front is stamped onto one of the house cut-outs, and the ribbon behind it is a bow that is held in place by the foam dimensionals holding the die-cut greeting.
The inside of the card is exactly the same as the front, but without the houses.
I do like how the coloring came out on the houses. The watercolor technique made it a lot easier since I wasn’t so worried about being perfect.

I hope you have a great day!
