Paper Ornaments

Good morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Today I wanted to share some ornaments I made using Christmas presents that I got from my husband. Ok, so I kinda knew I was getting them because I bought them – he in turn takes them and tries not to forget where he puts them. Which he has done in the past…which is why I said “kinda”.

It’s not that I am controlling, because I am not – he does the same thing for his presents. We just figured if we are going to get something, may as well make it something we like/want. Plus, we also surprise each other with something else.

Christmas Snowmen ornaments

These adorable little guys were made using Lawn Fawns Build-a-snowman die.

Too bad they didn’t get more time on our Christmas tree, but they did hang out on my little tabletop Christmas tree in my craft room for a couple of weeks!

Peaceful Village ornaments

This trio of ornaments were made using Honey Bees Winter Village die set. Let me tell you I knew they were going to be small, but I was surprised by exactly how small they were. A good pair of tweezers are well needed. But they are super cute, I especially like the log house (eh, I am in Montana!).

Supplies used:

  • Honey Bee Winter Village die
  • Circle dies: 3 and 3 1/4 in
  • Cardstock: white, taupe, sage green, light yellow
  • Glitter
  • Sugar and Cream yarn: Jute

Did you get any fun stuff for Christmas?
