If I step out my front door I am looking directly at St. Mary’s Peak, here in the Bitterroot. The crazy thing is, that I never noticed the Country Scene stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps looks a lot like it – at least until I was making this card. Weird huh?! So, in honor of our lovely, huge – half burned (we had a fire on it this summer!) – mountain, I decided to call this card Fall on St. Mary’s.

I have always loved this set. I’m a mountain girl, so I tend to gravitate to anything mountain. But I also loved the simplicity and just knew that I wanted to make a card to show off just this set. It took me a little time to figure it out, but I love the results.
As with a lot of my cards, I wanted layers – I like layers – it’s just what I do – I also did a little fussy cutting and made some trees stick out.
