I love Aspen trees, to me they are the epitome of fall when their leaves are a blaze in golden glory.
-ok, I am off my poetic soapbox, back to the card-
Supplies used:
- Stamp’in Up! Aspen tree dies
- Stamp’in Up! Soft Seedlings stamp set
- Recollections paper – Autumn
- Raffia ribbon

This card measures 4 1/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches.

How to:
To start I cut the base of the card from white cardstock. It measures 4/ 1/4×11 inches. I then cut a piece of white for the front that measured 4×5 1/4 inches, once cut I slipped it thru the big shot with the Aspen tree die and set it aside. I then cut a piece of yellow print, just a bit smaller than the front piece, to be a backer for the die cut area. Then took blue print paper and cut 2 pieces, one was cut to 4 1/8x 5 3/8inches (for front), the other 4 1/8×1 1/2 inches (for inside). I then used the extra scrap pieces of the blue and yellow to die cut the aspen leaves. In yellow, 1 large leaf and 1 small leaf. In blue 1 large leaf. I then used the sentiment from the Soft Seedlings stamp set and stamped it on the smallest leaf in black.
I then started to assemble the card. I adhered the large blue print piece to the front of the card, then attached yellow print to the back of the white die cut front. Making sure not to see any of the yellow on the sides. I then attached that to the blue on the front of the card. I then adhered the small blue to the inside of the card. After that, I put adhesive on the back of the large yellow leaf and attached it to the card, then took approximately 8 inches of raffia ribbon, tied the ends together, and positioned it where it looked best. I then added foam dots on the back of the large blue leaf and small yellow leaf. I placed the blue leaf over the ribbon to secure it to the card and the placed the small yellow leaf makin

Have a great day!
