Pom-Pom Pumpkins
It is no secret that I love quick projects. Sometimes life just doesn’t allow me time to get into really involved ones, and so I bide my time and creativity with smaller fun ones.

These little Pom-Pom pumpkins are just that – FUN!

This project uses the Clover Pom-pom maker – I am not getting anything from the company – I am just letting y’all know that’s what I used! I did use this maker before on another project here on MTdawn – last winter I used it to make the Quick and Easy Christmas Garland, which turned out super cute!

Supplies Used:
- – Clover Pom-pom make – set of 4 (I used the 3 smallest in the set)
- – Caron yarn in Terracotta, Taupe, Soft Sage and Grass Green
- – 3 small pieces of sticks – approx. 1 1/2 to 2 inches
How to:
Make the pumpkins in which ever size you like – I have the Clover Pom-pom maker set and used the smallest three from the set. Just follow the instructions for the pom-pom maker – or you can make pom-poms with out a maker – HERE is a great, quick tutorial!
After the pom-poms were made, I crochet simple leaves out of the green. There are patterns everywhere for simple leaves, but I just made a chain of 7-10 and just used, slip stich, single, double and triple crochet stiches randomly. Making sure that the smallest stiches were at the end and the largest toward the top.
If you don’t know how to crochet, you could cut leaf shapes from green felt.
**I will note right now that I am not the best crochet person – I can follow simple patterns, but to love trying new things. I actually taught myself on a very long car ride a few years back. And even though I am not the greatest, I enjoy it.**
After the pumpkins are done, it was time to assemble them. I pulled out my handy-dandy hot glue gun and glued the small stick to the top then glued the leaf.

I liked them so much that I ended up making some more and made a pumpkin swag.

For the swag, the pumpkin part is all the same, but I did not add the sticks for the stem. Instead, I attached the pumpkin to a crochet chain with the green yarn. and then added the leaves with hot glue.
Up above you can see the little Pom-pom Pumpkins and the swag – I have them in our living room on picture ledges. In the photo you can also see the Wood Pumpkins, Fall Molding wreath (disassembled) and the Easy Rustic Frames that I made for previous posts.
How else could you use these little pumpkins?
