Birds of Metcalf: Yellow Headed Blackbird

I have named this photo ‘grumpy bird’. And he and all the yellow headed blackbird that I have seen all look like they are grumpy. Maybe it comes from their call. They have a raspy buzzing call, that makes me think that they are getting their tail feathers plucked out one by one.
