We are very lucky to live close to a wildlife refuge. Which gives us an opportunity to enjoy some nice (little) hikes and some amazing birding!

In January I was lucky enough to find myself all alone with a flock of Trumpeter Swans.

They are beautiful birds. I just love their big feet, such a stark contrast from their creamy white feathers.
