Good morning and welcome to Morning Chat for December 6, 2022!

An obsession, encouragement and the Warmest Wishes card!

On Friday I posted about how to use paper stacks – and pretty much – just paper stacks to use cards. That will continue for the next two Fridays. My main goal is really just to encourage you to try making cards, scrapbooks, even papercrafts yourself. If you look at what is out there it can be very daunting, but it doesn’t have to be.

If you decide to give it a try, Good luck! And I hope you will share what you have made with me. If not, that’s ok. I hope you at least enjoy checking out the ones I post – and hey, let me know what you think. A little creative criticism goes a long way!

I love paper stacks! There I said it…it’s not a complete and utter obsession (I did say not complete…) but I do have a lot of paper stacks that I bought because I liked the patterns. And now, well…I have a bunch. Some I have given to my daughter to use, but most just sit waiting for its day in the sun.

So, with that being said sometimes the last thing I need to be doing is going to craft stores and meandering thru the paper stack aisle. But I do. Sigh…it’s a sickness.

Well, I will tell you, that I was super proud of myself this last trip. While looking around I spotted the paper, and I thumbed through it – like any good card maker – but instead of buying the 12×12 stacks, I opted for the 6×6 stacks. and only 2 instead of 4 err 6.

Anyway, here is the result of one of those stacks!

Warmest Wishes card

This card measures 5 inches x 5 inches. It uses white cardstock and the Recollections ‘Say Freeze’ 6×6 paper stack, adhesive and foam dots.

You don’t really even need the foam dots, but I like elevating the sentiment.

What do you think?
