Violet Studio box

A fun way to make cards and tags without needing stamps and dies!

About 6 weeks ago I bought the ‘Home for Christmas’ decoupage box from Violet Studio. I will say right now – I am not getting anything from Violet Studio, this is just a “what I made” post.

Anyway, I have a bunch of stamps and dies and had never really paid too much attention to the card making boxes. But while browsing thru papercraft supplies online I came upon this box and thought “why not!” So, I order and less than a week later I had the box above arrive at our door.

The box had 6 – 6×6 card blanks, envelopes and all the little pieces that make the box fun to work with. All I used was a trimmer, scissors, adhesive (glue and foam dots) markers for edging (which wasn’t needed but sometimes adds just a little depth) and red and white bakers twine for the tags and ornaments. I did cut some of the card blanks down and ended up making 8 cards and a bunch of tags, some of which I like so much I am using them as ornaments!

Even after all I made, I still have a bunch of stuff left. I can easily make double the number of tags and with some more cards blanks (which I can easily make), a couple more cards at least.
