Super easy way to keep yummy blueberries all year long!

Freezing Blueberries
Blueberries are a staple in our house – but sometimes they can be quite expensive. So, when they are in season, I buy in bulk – to save money – and freeze them.
If you by chance read my post about Freezing Strawberries – you will know how easy they are to freeze, but blueberries take the trophy when it comes to ease of food preservation.
Blueberries are the easiest food to freeze.
To freeze blueberries:
Wash the fruit and let dry a little bit – while they are drying, I get out a baking sheet and place wax paper on it. You can you a silicone baking sheet, just make sure it is freezer safe.
Place the fruit on the baking sheet and pop it into the freezer – 2 hours to overnight. I usually leave ours overnight. Then I pull them out and place the fully frozen berries into marked freezer bags – and done!
They are great to have on hand when wanting to make blueberry muffins or pancakes. They also can be used as ice cubes and add a berry flavor to drinks – they are great little additions to water or lemonade!
Hope this is helpful!
