Mother’s Day and power tools!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. My husband asked me what I wanted to do for Mother’s Day a couple weeks ago. After a little thinking about it I decided I wanted to spend some time in town getting a good meal and picking up my Mother’s Day and late birthday present. That’s where the story gets funny – at least to my husband. When he asked what I would like I told him ‘my own tools’ – meaning my own power tools, especially a drill. Let me explain, for years I have been wanting my own tools. I have been using my husbands but they were from before we were married, so at least 20+ years old. And since I do more activities where they are needed I thought my own set would be nice.

So, guess what I got?!

A little more than just a drill…but that’s ok! (I’m not going to complain) When I pulled out the reciprocating saw I asked my husband which wall I could cut out. For some reason he seemed a little nervous. Maybe because I have cut holes in the walls before, and I didn’t even have a saw then!

I opted to go with Ryobi because I have a nail gun and an edger from them that I love. I have never had any problems with them other than trying to get them away from my husband so I could use them!
