Kids Busy Binder
A kids busy binder is actually a fairly simple way to keep kids busy, especially if they like puzzles, mazes, etc. It is great for car trips! And the pics that you will see below are from my daughters binder that I made 5 years ago. The great thing is she still uses it when we are in the car – heading to town for errands or heading off on a trip. Also, you can update them as your child grows and interests change.

I like easy projects, especially when it comes to my daughter, where an interest only stays for a short length of time. The wonderful things is this project has lasted us over 5 years!
To make a busy binder you will need:
- a binder – an old one is great, it will get wrote on by the markers.
- sheet protectors
- various color pages, connect the dot pages, tracing pages, mazes, letters, numbers, etc. You can find a bunch of stuff online for free that you just print off.
- dry erase markers
- eraser (or you can use baby wipes or a paper towel/rag with a little water on it. For some reason we always loose our eraser.

All you do for a busy binder is put the pages in the sheet protectors and add them to the binder – done! Like I said before you can update them also, while I was cleaning ours ( pretty easy also, a foam eraser and a rag) I noticed there was some that she didn’t use anymore and had definitely outgrown, so those will be getting changed out. She’s really into mazes right now so I should get on that!
Gotta go, have a good day!
